The Alliance's Steering Committee meet in Melbourne, Australia on February, 29th, 2012. Hosted by NAB, the Alliance's Board of Directors met for two days of meetings to chart priorities for the organization's mission of delivery of open cloud solutions. During this event the Alliance welcomed NTT Data as a new Steering Committee Member. Guest speakers included: Mario Mueller, Vice President IT Infrastructure, BMW, Board Member of the Alliance, Adam Bennet, Chief Information Officer, NAB, and Gordon G. Garylish, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ODCA Press Event March 1st, 2012 The Open Data Center Alliance held a press event on March 1st, 2012 in Melbourne, Australia at National Australia Bank's corporate headquarters. Speakers included Alliance Board Member Mario Müeller of BMW, Adam Bennett of NAB, and Jason Waxman of Intel. During the press event, the Alliance announced delivery of RFP language publication for 5 of its most pressing requirements for cloud along with online tools for IT use in development of proposals. Also announced was Forecast 2012, an ODCA sponsored conference held concurrently with the International Cloud Expo at Javits Center on June 12th.
