Parking
The hotel offers Valet Parking at the Geary Street Entrance. Overnight parking is $51.00 per day, plus tax (14%) and includes in and out privileges daily (there is a surcharge for oversized vehicles or SUV’s). There are several parking lots located in the Union Square area. Average charge is $32.00 for overnight parking, with no in and out privileges.
Air Transportation
For those flying to Forecast 2013, there are two international airports that service the northern Bay Area:
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – 12 miles
- Oakland International Airport (OAK) – 15 miles
Taxi rates are approximately $40-$50 from SFO and $60-$70 from OAK and do not include gratuity. Travel times vary depending on the time of day.
Weather
San Francisco's weather is as changeable as the seas, literally. Surrounded on all sides (save one) by ocean and bay, San Francisco's weather is also one of the hardest to forecast and changes drastically from neighborhood to neighborhood. June it is often overcast and cool, with the marine layer burning off by the afternoon.
